Below that, text in German reads Erst Deutscher Dann Beamter!, which translates to First German, then Official! There is also text that says Treue Kundgebung Der Nat. Sozial Beamten Abteil Gau, which translates to Loyalty Rally of the National Socialist Civil Servant Department Gau. An eagle with outstretched wings is prominently displayed in the center. At the bottom, the location Essen and the date 27. Sept. 1933 are inscribed. Below the eagle are spears, a flag with a swastika, and a coat of arms.
