Note: In the 1970s, Ilya Kabakov began creating his first albums, each of which presented the story of a Soviet eccentric, often living in a communal apartment. It was from these works that the famous series “10 Characters” would later be formed, in which the artist would embody one of his most striking techniques – creating works on behalf of fictional people.
