A set of World War II stainless steel knives from the Nazi German Waffen SS Division Wiking officers canteen. A total of 6 items. Each handle decorated with embossed floral ornaments, and an etched swastika in the shield. Hallmarked with Feinstahl Solingen Rostfrei, markers mark are on the blades and handles. The 5th SS Panzer Division Wiking was an infantry and later an armoured division of Waffen SS. It was recruited from foreign volunteers in Scandinavia, the Netherlands and Belgium under the command of German officers. During World War II, the division served on the Eastern Front.
