Published by OGIZ Molodaya Gvardiya Publishing House, Moscow, Leningrad, 1932. Koster is an all Union monthly literary and artistic magazine for schoolchildren. Published since July 1936 in Leningrad. The magazine is intended for primary and secondary school students. Many famous childrens writers are published on its pages, some of them write educational columns for the magazine. The magazine publishes literary works, educational articles, including on the history of St. Petersburg, essays on art, humorous materials, letters from readers, and holds quizzes and competitions with readers.
