A Russian Soviet Order of the Red Banner RSFSR. The front side of the order has a well detailed, clear counter relief inscription.The first Soviet order appeared in 1918. By decree of the Central Executive Committee of September 16, a badge of distinction was established, the Order of the Red Banner of the RSFSR, which could be awarded to every citizen of the republic who showed special bravery and courage in direct combat activities. It is circular with a central design featuring a red star, crossed hammer and sickle, and a red banner with Cyrillic text. The banner text reads Workers of all countries, unite!. The central design is encircled by a silver wreath or laurel and crossed swords. The letters USSR are visible at the bottom edge of the central design. Marked 29330 on the reverse. The medal has an enamel finish, with red and white being prominent colors. Russian Soviet Awards, Collectible Militaria.
