An antique English lire shaped mantel clock by Lund and Blockley. The clock in the shape of a lyre musical instrument is richly decorated with an applied gilt pattern of wreaths, leaves, fruit, and flowers. At the top is a relief gilt image of the sun. Raised on four feet. The round dial with blue Roman numerals is marked Lund and Blockley. Around the dial is a row of white sparkling crystals. Comes with a key. Lund and Blockley comprised John Alexander Lund and Herbert Blockley who worked in London since 1870, and had a branch in Bombay, India.
