A Russian Imperial naval officers broadsword with scabbard. Model of 1855 to 1914. The broadsword has a straight blade, a gilt handle and a scabbard. The blade is richly decorated with engraved images of sailing ships, foliate patterns, and the monogram of Russian Emperor Alexander III. The inscription For Bravery is engraved twice on the curves of the handle. Marked F.W. Holler Solingen on the blade by the hilt.
