A WWII Nazi German Red Cross Medical nickel silver plated, dagger with drop forged steel construction saw toothed blade. The obverse is adorned with a vertically oval languet depicting an embossed second pattern DRK manner national eagle with down swept wings, a highly embossed swastika to its breast, and a traditional Greek manner cross in its talons. The reverse features a vertically oval languet with the raised, smooth, outer edge encompassing a slightly recessed, smooth field. The dagger comes with its original, black painted magnetic sheet metal scabbard with matte, nickel silver plated top and bottom fittings. The handle has one side missing.
