An antique late 19th-century French division generals sword. Pattern 1872. Steel straight double-edged blade. Twisted grip made of natural materials. Cylindrical brass bushings decorated with relief floral ornaments are located at the base and top. The guard is formed by a single protective bow, smoothly turning into the crosspiece of the handle. In the center of the crosspiece is a decorative shield, on which is placed an image of a round laurel wreath and crossed banners. The outer edge feature three steel stars, denoting the rank of brigadier general in the French Army.
