Palenske, 1884 to 1954, American, born in Chicago, Illinois. His primary works focused on the American and Canadian West, including the people, animals, and landscapes inspired by his travels. After completing his studies, Palenske secured exclusive representation with the publishing company Brown and Bigelow, whose works were reproduced in calendars and promotional materials for hunting and fishing equipment.
