An antique Japanese enamel over copper plate. The plate is enameled with a polychrome butterfly design surrounded by floral and foliage patterns made in the Cloisonne technique on a turquoise ground. The backside is adorned with a swirl motif made in the Cloisonne technique. Circa: early 20th century.
