An antique Napoleon War of 1812 Medicine Badge. The plaque is made of a gilt metal with engraved text and an eagle emblem beneath a crown. The text is in French and reads: REGNE DE NAPOLEON, MINISTERE DE CHAMPAGNY, MEDICAMENS, POUR LES EPIDEMIES. The plaque is displayed on a dark background within a dark frame that has a decorative gold inner border. Bears a sticker from the Toni and Warren Tucker framing shop that created the custom frame, on the back side. French Military Antiques, Collectible Weapons And Armor Equipment.
