Lot 0642: EARLY 19TH C YEMENI LOW GRADE SILVER JAMBIYA DAGGER

An antique Yemeni dagger, dating from the early 19th century. The dagger blade has a curved shape, typical of jambiya daggers. The hilt and scabbard are decorated with small round pieces, made of low grade silver. This decoration extends down the scabbard, which is curved to match the shape of the blade. The tip of the scabbard is fastened with soft wire. The scabbard is also features two fastening rings. Collectible Oriental Knives And Swords, Arms And Armor.
