A WWII type Nazi German Third Reich Naval officers dagger. The nickel plated steel blade is two edged and adorned with etched marine ornaments. The white barrel shaped plastic handle is wound with twisted brass wire along the spiral groove. The figural head of the handle is made in a shape of an eagle. The gilt brass crosspiece has a relief anchor in the center, as well a button for the spring latch of the dagger lock in the scabbard. The gilt scabbard is decorated with two engraved oak leaf strips and arrow engravings. There are two suspension rings on the scabbard.
