An Imperial Russian hunting dagger. Stainless steel blade, marked with double-headed eagle, Schaf and Sons, Saint Petersburg. The grip is covered in black oxide coating. The scabbard has a relief Imperial coat of arms decor. Wilhelm Schaf was a German-born Russian gunsmith. His firm was active from 1823 to 1915.
