A vintage Chinese export Mottahedeh porcelain dinner plate from the legendary Reagan-era Candlelight Dinners commemorating the inauguration of 40th U.S. President Ronald Reagan, 1911 to 2004 and Vice President George H.W. Bush, 1924 to 2018. The plate features Fitzhugh-type decoration with emerald green flowers, insects, and latticework in the well and along the rim. A triumphant American eagle appears at the center. On verso, printed in black: Candlelight Dinner, Inauguration of President and Vice President, Reagan, Bush, January 18, 1981.
