A lot of two Japanese hand carved and painted wooden Noh theatre masks exuding a captivating theatrical presence. The first mask is dark patinated, and decorated with a smiling face, slits in the nostrils and eyes, and red accents. The second mask is white patinated, adorned with a distinctive beard, and eyebrows, a red accented lips, this mask carries an air of wisdom and character, typical of traditional Noh theater.
