A rare antique Japanese lacquer table cabinet in the form of a pagoda. Meiji period, 1868 to 1912. Footed base. Golden ground color, hand-painted crane birds and landscape motifs. The cabinet has two drawers and two door wings with rice paper covers which conseal shelves with 5 trinket boxes. The pagoda roof is composed of two decorative trays.
