An antique Japanese Meiji Era enamel vase, 1868 to 1912. The vase is of an ovoid form tapering to the bottom and featuring a short everted neck, the body is intricately worked in silver wire and polychrome cloisonne enamels depicting an eagle flying over a three-claw dragon swimming in stormy waves on a glossy cobalt blue ground.
