A pair of identical antique Japanese copper vases with cloisonne enamel design. Late Meiji period, before 1912. Baluster shape, square base, long neck. Black ground color. The reverse depicts a blooming cherry tree with birds. Patterned borders. Presumably a work of Hayashi Kodenji, 1831 to 1915, a Japanese cloisonne artist. Damaged corners. Collectible Oriental Asian Decor For Interior Design.
