An antique Japanese, late Meiji Era, enamel over copper vase with a fluted mouth. Circa: late 19th century to early 20th century. The lobulated shaped vase is enameled with polychrome panels with floral, foliage, butterfly motifs surrounded by swirl and geometrical ornaments made in the Cloisonne technique. The base and the neck of the ware are adorned with a geometrical motif made in the same technique. Unmarked.
