An ancient bronze vase from the Near East region, Luristan. The vase features an ovoid body and an elegant long fluted neck Luristan bronzes have been found in large quantities in Loristan and Kermanshah province in western Iran. They date from around 1000-650 BC. It includes a large amount of jewelry, tools, weapons, horse harness, and a smaller number of vessels. Those items found in recorded excavations are usually found in burials and served as items needed by the deceased in the afterlife.
