An Ancient Roman translucent glass cage cup or diatretum. Dated 4th AD, late Imperial Rome era. The item consist of two parts. The first is an inner beaker decorated with a gilt Christian cross. The second is an outer cage or shell of circular grid design that stands out from the body of the cup. Rare, unusual piece. Collectible Archaeological Finds And Relics, Glassware.
