An antique Chinese covered and hand enameled white porcelain teapot. The exterior of the teapot is adorned with hand enameled images of a sitting sage with a fishing rod, and a seated lady, and medallions with Hieroglyphs, inscribed with calligraphic text. The teapot features a figural finial, made in a shape of a berry, on the top, decorated with gilding. Marked with a red seal, on the bottom. Circa: late 19th century.
