A rare tall antique Rookwood Art pottery blue scenic vellum vase by Edward Diers, 1871 to 1947. The vase is adorned with a forest landscape scene surrounding the entire vase. Marked with impressed factory stamps, numbered, 950D, a V for vellum. Ed Diers was an artist at Rookwood from 1896 to 1931. He was educated at the Ohio Mechanics Institute, Industrial Art School and the Cincinnati Art Academy. Circa: 1910s.
