An antique Japanese porcelain bowl. Late Meiji period, before 1912. Round shape, high rims. The piece is hand-painted with Imari decor, floral ornaments in red and cobalt blue. Marked on the bottom. Imari ware is a Western term for a brightly-coloured style of Japanese export porcelain from the Arita region in the 17-18th centuries. Collectible Oriental Asian Decor, Imari Porcelain Ware.
