An antique Scottish silver mounted officers dirk dagger with a steel and leather scabbard. A stainless steel blade is engraved thistle flower and scrollwork motifs. An embossed leather handle is adorned with Silver accents, and an engraved image of a Royal crown on a top of a pommel. Engraved black painted ornaments on the sides of the blade. The ware is highly decorated making for a very recognizably Scottish knife. Numbered, 008852, on a ricasso. Circa: Mid to the late 19th century.
