A Russian Soviet silver medal dedicated to the 3rd Anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution . The medal was minted at the Petrograd Mint in 1920. The medal was designed by the famous Russian medalist Anton Vasyutinsky. The medal was awarded to all participants and organizers of the solemn meeting of the Petrograd Soviet of Workers, Soldiers and Peasants Deputies, dedicated to the third anniversary of the revolution. The participants of the meeting were awarded a silver medal, the organizers - a bronze one. On the obverse of the medal, against the background of a five-pointed star, it depicts a worker at the anvil: he holds a hammer in one hand, and a rifle in the other. At the top of the medal is the inscription Proletarians of all countries, unite! On the reverse of the medal in the center is an image of a hammer and sickle. Above is the inscription R.S.F.S.R., and in the lower part - October 1917-1920. On the left and right at the edge of the shoulder there are convex images of five-pointed stars.
