A set of World War II stainless steel knives with sterling silver handles from the Nazi German Waffen SS Division Wiking officers canteen. A total of 6 items. Each handle has embossed runic ornaments, an etched swastika and an engraved letter B. Hallmark of 800 silver standard and markers mark are on rims of the handles. The 5th SS Panzer Division Wiking was an infantry and later an armoured division of Waffen SS. It was recruited from foreign volunteers in Scandinavia, the Netherlands and Belgium under the command of German officers. During World War II, the division served on the Eastern Front.
