A rare and exquisite late 19th century French compendium comprising clock and barometer in an openwork bronze case decorated with scrolled foliage motifs. The left side with a clock dial, having Arabic numerals, the right is a barometer, both are decorated with gilt bronze medallions with relief Gothic adornments to the center. The barometer dial is inscribed: Made in Paris. The central aperture is apparently intended for the thermometer, which is now lost. Circa 1880.
