An antique Russian hand painted porcelain figural group by the Gardner Factory. The figurine is made at a high level, naturally painted. The figural group depicts a family scene with a peasant woman washing clothes and a harmonica player child in traditional costumes. Circa: 1870s to 1890s. Marked in red ink, Gardner Factory in Moscow, under the coat of arms, imprinted, Gardner, numbered in red 15, under the base. The famous Gardner factory was considered the best porcelain enterprise of the Russian Empire. Similar figurines depicting peasant life were very popular in the 19th century.
