A pair of large antique mid-19th century white porcelain interior plates. Round plaques with gilt rims, the central parts are decorated with hand-painted raised sculptural flowers. Signed by the artists by the rims, J. Callowhill and J. Raby. Green Royal Worcester hallmark is on the backside of both pieces. James Callowhill, 1838–1917, was an important decorator at the Worcester Royal Porcelain Works in England before emigrating to America in the 1880s. Edward J.
