An excellent first half of the 18th / 19th century, French First Empire mantel clock made of patinated bronze with gilded accents; decorated with a finely cast bronze sculpture of a young woman wearing an antique dress. Mounted on a rectangular red marble base with an ormolu socle and raised on four feet modeled as turtles.
