Adolph Alexander Weinman (German, American, 1870 to 1952), an early 20th century patinated bronze sculpture depicting the goddess of luck, Fortuna poised on the tip of a wheel. One arm is raised to the sky and clasps the stem of the trumpet. Signed to the base: "A.A. Weinman." This sculpture is based on bronze by the famous Mannerist sculptor, Giambologna (Italian Renaissance sculptor, 1529 to 1608).
