Henri Honore Ple (French, 1853–1922), a bronze sculpture titled Houndsman depicting a hound master with two dogs. Signed to the base. Henri Honore Ple was a painter and sculptor, who trained under the celebrated French sculptor Mathurin Moreau. He exhibited for the first time at the Paris Salon in 1877 and received an honorable mention in 1879.
