A large antique mid-19th century English sterling silver vase. The vase is footed and has two figurative handles which makes it shaped like a goblet. The piece is richly decorated with floral metalwork. An engraved initial B garnished the front side. The inner side of the vase is gilt. Hallmarks EEBJW for Edward Barnard and Sons, London assay mark, walking lion, letter E for the year 1840, souvereigns head turned left are on the backside of the item. Weight: 1928 grams.
