Lot 0591: CHINESE BRONZE JUE VESSEL AND ISLAMIC TEA SERVICE

A mid-20th century Chinese bronze Jue vessel for serving wine. An ovoid body is supported by three splayed triangular legs, with a long curved spout on one side and a flange on the other. There are two loop handles on the sides and column-shaped protuberances on the top of the vessel. The item is decorated with relief mythical beasts. Hieroglyphical hallmark is on the bottom. The lot also includes a Middle Eastern gilt copper tea service, a tea pot with hinged lid, five footed cups, and a round serving tray. The items are decorated with engraved ornaments and Kufic inscriptions. Oriental Tableware And Decor, Arabic Islamic Tea And Coffee Sets.
