A patinated bronze figure by Auguste Moreau, 1855 to 1919, a French sculptor. The artwork represents a young woman with a flowing drapery. Dated ca. 1897. Signed by the artist on the bottom. The square base of the figure has a shield with inscription in French on the front: Aurore par Aug. Moreau, Medaille d Or a L Exposition. The piece won the gold medal at the Nice Exposition of 1910.
