The abbreviation stands for the SS-Totenkopf Machtbatallion, the organization responsible for administering the Nazi concentration and extermination camps. Sachsenhausen was a concentration camp in Oranienburg, Germany, used from 1936 until May 1945 for keeping political prisoners. The lot also includes a 1940s Injecta Steinach syringe.
