A vintage second half of the XX Century, life size bronze sculpture of a Jack Russell Terrier dog in a sitting position. The piece is number 4 out of 25 specimens, signed by JL Clark and has the stamp of Santa Fe, a probable reference to a New Mexican bronze foundry provenance. The high quality and exquisite execution of the piece makes us remember artworks created in a much earlier period by the American artist James Lippitt Clark, who specialized in animal sculptures and who has several well known dog figures.
