A framed composition of four Oriental Indian miniature paintings dated from the late 19th century. The upper miniature depicts a finely painted portrait of bejeweled Mughal princess Mumtaz Mahal, in honor of which the mausoleum, known as the Taj Mahal, was built. The other three miniatures with architectural scenes depicts famous landmarks of India: the Diwan–i-Am or Audience Hall of the Red Fort in Delhi, The Qutub Minar in Delhi, and The Moti Masjid or the Pearl mosque, a white marble mosque inside the Red Fort complex in Delhi.
