A group of antique Japanese Noh Theatre Netsuke hand craved and hand painted wooden and ceramic masks. The masks depict various grimaces. Marked, Made in Japan, on the back. Strings on the back. Noh is a major form of classical Japanese dance drama that has been performed since the 14th century. Developed by Kanami and his son Zeami, it is the oldest major theatre art that is still regularly performed today. Circa: late 19th century to early 20th century.
