An early 20th-century porcelain vase by Carl Thieme Porschappel, a German manufacturer established in 1864 in Dresden. An exquisite large lidded vase encrusted with flowers in molded foliate panels surmounted by putti figurines. The body of the vase is handpainted with an 18th-century Galant scene depicting lovers in the field on the verso side and with flowers on the recto side.
