An Empire style balustre shaped lidded porcelain vase with metal accents and stand, possibly made of bronze. The body of the vase is hand painted with images of mythical creatures in cobalt blue. The lid is surmounted by the bronze tone fleur de lis. Two twisted handles are decorated with antique profiles and deity masks at the base. The stand is mounted on four legs in the form of lion paws and contains relief busts of sphinxes at the corners.
