Old Middle East Mosque oil or candle lamps made with a copper and brass alloy metal. Not modified item still with the glass cup inserts. Three antique Persian Qajar style hanging lanterns of different sizes are chiseled with fine engravings and piercings featuring crescents to the bottom. Circa the late 19th century. The Qajar dynasty was an Iranian royal family of Turkic origin, which ruled Persia from 1785 to 1925. The Qajar family took full control of Iran in 1794, deposing Lotf Ali Khan, the last of the Zand dynasty, and reasserted Persian sovereignty over parts of the Caucasus.
