A museum quality Russian Imperial Polish hand engraved and hand chiseled silver tray dated from the second half of the 19th century. A decorative rim around the edges connects raised medallions with the faces of mythological creatures and pomegranate fruits. The tray is finely engraved with floral motifs in the center. Engraved inscription on the bottom: J.W. 6. December 1889. Marked with 84 silver standard and the Cyrillic maker's mark: PT. Decorative Art, Russian Silver Antiques And Collectibles. W: 642 grams.
