This is a WWII German 1938 Der Stahlhelm Wetthampsfieger Marksman Veterans Badge in black wool over nickel. The front reads Der Stahlhelm Wetthampsfieger 1938. It shows the profile of a German helmet at the top with a pair of crossed rifles and an Iron Cross at the base. All of it surrounded by an oval oak leaf wreath. It has the makers mark on the reverse and a thin horizontal pin back.
