A large Russian hand-painted porcelain Easter Egg depicting a young maiden holding a sheath of wheat over her shoulder. Signed by the artist, M. Delaki, in the Cyrillic lower right. Painted group of poppies against a shaded light-blue ground on verso. A braided ribbon with a bow below and on the top in the form of a loop. Provenance: The Christie's New York: The Art of Entertaining: The Collection of Mr. & Mrs. John H. Gutfreund 834 Fifth Avenue, January 28, 2021, lot # 75.
