An American utility knife known as a trade knife or a skinner buffalo knife that was widely used during the 19th and early 20th centuries for skinning large game particularly bison and in trade with the indigenous peoples of North America. Its distinctive, deeply curved blade was ideally suited for separating hide from meat without damaging the skin itself. It comes with a simple leather sheath.
