Lot 333 - 19TH C VICTORIAN SILVER PLATED KETTLE WITH WARMING STAND

A 19th century Victorian silver plated spirit kettle and warming stand. The ware features a globular body adorned with twelve circular relief panels depicting the signs of the zodiac, set within a field of chased scrollwork and foliate motifs. The kettle is fitted with an overhead handle featuring a dark wood grip and a hinged lid topped by a decorative finial. It rests upon a matching four legged stand with figural feet, secured by two chained pins, and includes a central spirit burner with an original wick. Marked with impressed stamps.
